Introducing Young Excellence at ELTE

The New National Excellence Program is a scholarship founded by the Hungarian Government to support and encourage national excellence in higher education. During the 2017/2018 school year 349 graduate and postgraduate students, PhD candidates and young government employed researchers/lecturers have been awarded this scholarship. At the closing conference of last year’s program awardees presented their results obtained in their scholarship period.

On the 24th of May 2018, winners of the 2017/2018 New National Excellence Program, 319 MSc and PhD students, PhD candidates, and young researchers gave presentations in 25 rooms, and 16 sections at the Lágymányos Campus.

We are proud of our colleagues Dr. Nóra Bunford and Dr. Ákos Pogány (young investigator category) as well as Emese Alexandra Fazekas and Andrea Temesi (PhD student category) for representing the Department of Ethology at this prestigious event.
